Description: Records of Menomonie, Wisconsin businessmen and brothers, William S. and Fred H. Smith, managers of the Opera House, Grand Theatre, and Menomonie Bill Posting and Advertising Co. A ledger provides a daily record of receipts and disbursements for the distribution, bill posting, and advertising company from 1911-1936, and for the Opera House form 1908-1931 and notes from the social, civic and cultural events conducted there. Miscellaneous papers, 1911-1936, include a few playbills for the musical events, but consist primarily of financial papers relating to the advertising company.
